yepp, they are in canada. go to futureshop, best buy, or a nearby apple store. yes, your right. you do have to set up a phone plan with rogers, or w/e phone company you choose. but for the store to buy them, i reccomend futureshop, or best buy.

I’m afraid Davy’s incorrect, probably getting confused with the iPod Touch which looks identical but does not have any cellular or Internet functions (except for Wi-Fi browsing). No, the iPhone is not available anywhere in Canada at this time. Your only option to use one would be to obtain an unlocked iPhone from the U.S. and then it could be used on either Rogers or Fido plan.
