There are many earphones for the iPhone that can be used for hands free calling. These earphones are but one of the many accessories you can have for your iPhone. However there are many Bluetooth headsets available but not all are created equal. There are hundreds of earphones to sort through and you will also have to wade through much of the sales and marketing to get to the real earphone and determine how it works.
One of the best earphones for the iPhone if the Jawbone noise shield from Aliph. This earphone was designed for military purposes from DARPA. This has the most advanced technology of any Bluetooth earpiece and the noise canceling is military grade. It has an excellent price and is available in some different colors. If you can find this on sale then it is a great investment.
The Pantronics discovery 655 earpiece for iPhones is also a good choice. It can be very affordable when on sale. The Discovery is the top of the Plantronics Bluetooth earpiece range and this model and the Plantronics Voyager 510 Bluetooth is another good Bluetooth option. This Bluetooth earpiece is very small and if you are prone to lose things then you might want something a bit larger.
A great name and colorful iPhone Bluetooth earpiece is the Latte raspberry Mocha pink Bluetooth headset. This one will appeal to anyone who likes the color pink. The battery is excellent with 7 hours of talk time and 170 hours standby. The sound is very good but not quite as crystal clear as the manufacturers claim. The earpiece is designed to comfortably fit your ear and it is very reasonably priced at around d$40.
A lovely addition to the Bluetooth headset is a strap so that you can actually take it off when you are not using it. The Sony Ericsson HBH-PV705 comes with a strap and has some of the best sound quality in a Bluetooth earpiece. Being from Sony this is a very reliable headset and is very light. If you want a headset that will last then Sony makes excellent products.
There are some Bluetooth headsets for the latest version of the iPhone the iPhone 3G. Plantronics created the discovery 925 just for the 3G and while it isn't the best for noise canceling but has the best sound quality for this iPhone. A earphone that probably is the best at canceling out noise is the Aliph Jawbone II with Noise Assassin.
You can also purchase an Apple iPhone Bluetooth head set when you buy your iPhone. Apple does have all the accessories you could want for an iPhone though most must be purchased separately. This Bluetooth headset works very well but it is much more expensive than other better available models.
The headset uses a one button design and you only need one button to use it. If you want to charge it with an AC adapter then you need to purchase an AC adapter.
